COVID-19 Procedures

We are so excited to welcome you back to the park! Here are some of the precautionary measures we are currently taking to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 during your visit:

Masks:

Masks are required within the park for all guests ages 10+, except for while riding water rides, and while eating or drinking. This is in accordance with the Texas state mandate, and Open Texas Guidelines.

During Check-In:

  • 6-foot markers in all queue lines to assist in social distancing from other guests not in your party.
  • Hand sanitizing station at the park entrance
  • Frequently touched surfaces disinfected regularly
  • Customers will be allowed to put on their own wristbands to minimize interaction (assistance will still be available on request)
  • Park attendance limited to 75% of park capacity
    • Note: We are not anticipating reaching this capacity limit, and reservations are not required to visit.
  • Plexiglass barriers at the check-in windows
  • Signage posted regarding best practices while in the park

At rides, attractions, games, and around the park:

  • Skipped seats or rows on rides to aid in distancing between groups
  • 6-foot markers in all queue lines to assist in social distancing from other guests not in your party.
  • Ride seats will be sanitized between each group of riders
  • Attendants dedicated to sanitizing video games after each use
  • Video games spread out to help maintain a 6-foot distance between guests
  • Increased number of hand-sanitizing stations throughout the park
  • Frequently touched surfaces disinfected regularly

In the kitchen and eating areas:

  • Number of tables reduced to allow all tables to be spaced at least 6 feet apart
  • Maximum of 10 guests per table
  • No food or drinks will be allowed to be left unattended at indoor tables
  • Dedicated attendants in each section to disinfect tables and surfaces between guests
  • 6-foot markers in all queue lines to assist in social distancing from other guests not in your party.
  • Plexiglass barriers at the register
  • Frequently touched surfaces disinfected regularly
  • Condiments and flatware will be kept behind the register, and provided on request as needed

Guidelines for guests:

  • Please DO NOT come to the park if you have COVID-19 related symptoms, or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 (until after a 14-day quarantine)
  • Guests are required to wear masks or facial coverings during their visit
    • Face shields or other unsecured face coverings may not be allowed on some rides if they are not securely fastened as determined by the ride operator or management.
  • Guests are encouraged (but not required) to purchase tickets to the park online before their visit. This will help reduce physical interaction with staff during check-in.
    • Food may also be purchased online by using our new "Eat & Play Combo" option during online checkout
  • For in-park transactions, cashless payment such as Apple Pay or Google Wallet is encouraged, or credit/debit card if those are not available (cash will still be accepted)
    • Wash & Sanitize your hands frequently
    • Use proper hygiene etiquette
    • Keep a 6-foot distance from other guests in the park that are not in your party
    • Follow all guidelines posted on signs around the park
      • Follow all instructions provided by staff

      For all employees:

      • Face coverings required
      • Daily symptom screening, including temperature checks
      • Additional training for employees regarding cleanliness and hygiene

Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. Please note that older adults and people with serious underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness due to COVID-19. Guests should evaluate their own risk in determining whether to attend. Someone without symptoms may still spread COVID-19 if infected. Interacting in public poses an inherent risk and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 during your visit. By coming to the park, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks associated with attendance.
